1. CELBRATE A JAZZ GREAT

Be there for Concord Historical Society’s big night honoring the great Dave Brubeck with a special live performance by the Brubeck Brothers and official stage dedication. The event will be held on May 27 at the CHS Event Center. Tickets can be purchased in advance through Eventbrite.

2. GET YOUR GROOVE BACK 

Big summer concerts are back at Concord Pavilion with two must-see shows this month: Steely Dan with special guest Snarky Puppy on Wednesday, May 25, and Stone Soul with Gladys Knight, Maze featuring Frankie Beverly, the Zapp Band and more, on Sunday, May 29. 

3. ACT LIKE A KID

Bay Area Kid Fest is back for Memorial Day Weekend and there’s big fun for all with rides, entertainment, arts & crafts, games and food. Held at Mt. Diablo High School at 2450 Grant St. Buy tickets in advance or at the event, May 28-30, 2022. 

4. SO TEA-LICIOUS

Spring is the perfect time to get festive and fancy at the Concord Historical Society’s Spring Tea at the Galindo, May 13-15. Bring a friend and enjoy tea and tasty treats in a lovely, vintage setting. Two seatings each day, at 11am and 2pm.

5. SHOP LOCAL ART

Support local artists at Concord Art Association’s Colors of Spring Show, May 13-15, at the Concord Museum and Event Center. Check out their gallery show, art & craft sale and “plein air paint out” where you can watch artists do their magic in real time!
